This is why we have the best volunteers in the world. For their birthday, Heather Moyer asked friends and family to donate to ShareBaby instead of buying gifts. Their goal was $480 for their 48th birthday—and they raised $1,000. Heather has been part of the ShareBaby family for almost 10 years and leads volunteer sessions in our warehouse every month. They show up, bring people together, and continue finding meaningful ways to support Baltimore families. Thank you to everyone who gave in Heather’s honor. We asked Nadya why she loves ShareBaby, and her answer is exactly why she’s the right person leading us: “I know how hard being a parent is, and I was once a parent who, despite my best efforts, wasn’t sure how I would make ends meet. The state of the world today forces us to be hyper-independent, but we need each other — and we need connection to a community we can depend on. ShareBaby is a trusted community friend that will always do its best to be there for all families with small children.” Join us in wishing Nadya the happiest birthday.

Backpacks. Donated to ShareBaby by someone who knew exactly where they’d end up — in the hands of families our partners serve every day. Diapers and essentials are always our focus — that never changes. But when something extra comes in, our partners have access to it, and they always know exactly who could use it. 400+ backpacks given out already this school year.
