One in two U.S. families with young children struggle to provide enough diapers to keep their children clean, dry and healthy. During National Diaper Need Awareness Week, ShareBaby invites you to learn about this growing public health issue and take action to help end diaper insecurity in our community.
Diaper need is a public health crisis. Without enough diapers, babies are exposed to health risks, parents miss out on work and wages, and children are unable to participate in early education. This is diaper need, an often-hidden consequence of poverty, which harms the physical, mental, and economic well-being of children and families.
